Florida State has landed a commitment from Christian Armstrong, an offensive tackle out of Warner Robins (Ga.) Warner Robins High School.

Standing 6’5 inches tall and 335 lbs , Armstrong is a four-star recruit ranking according to 247 Composite rankings, coming in at 337 nationally, 27th at his position, and 36th within the state of Georgia.

Armstrong chose FSU over 11 other schools to offer him including Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas among others.

The commitment comes a week after Armstrong visited FSU for the big man portion of the Jimbo Fisher camp. In total, the newest commit made the trip to Tallahassee six times since earning his offer on Junior Day back in 2016. Offensive line coach Rick Trickett led his recruiting.

Armstrong is the second 4-star offensive lineman recruit to join the 2018 class joining fellow Georgian, offensive guard Christian Meadows.

The talented lineman is the 12th recruit to join FSU’s 2018 recruiting and the 7th of the blue-chip variety. The 2018 Florida State football class now has seven four-star recruits and ranks eighth nationally and No. 3 in the ACC behind Clemson and Miami at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
