Florida State football, recruiting news: Can Deondre Francois surpass Lamar Jackson as the ACC’s best QB?

Lamar Jackson, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, is categorically considered the best QB in the ACC entering 2017 but Deondre Francois might have something to say about that.

Francois is also the most dependable quarterback returning to the ACC. In fact, he only threw seven interceptions. That is tied for least in the ACC by quarterbacks that threw over 350 attempts. But unlike Syracuse’s Eric Dungey, the quarterback Francois is tied with, Francois only threw four interceptions in conference play.

Florida State is a huge early favorite vs. Miami in their week 3 tilt.

This is likely Derwin James’ last season in Tallahassee but don’t despair Seminole fans; in 8 years we might see someone similar to him again.

These ten coaches need to win in 2017 or they won’t be coaching at those same schools in 2018.
