As expected, Florida State will host Sam Houston this weekend for the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals. After winning the Tallahassee Regional in 7 games and Sam Houston State winning the Lubbock Regional in the same number, a decision had to be made by the committee where the game would be hosted (Texas Tech was the national seed in the draw).

The Bearkats have been as hot as the ‘Noles down the stretch, winning the Southland Conference tournament and beating both Arizona, last year’s NCAA runners up, and Texas Tech, a team ranked in the top 5 for most of the year, to earn a trip to Tallahassee.
