Football:
Bill Connelly’s incredible FSU preview is here and one thing is clear: The Seminoles are loaded. The only thing in their way is a very daunting early schedule:
The schedule presents a major challenge. Because of the Week 1 battle with Alabama, the Noles have terrible odds of going 12-0 and could live up to their No. 3 projection while still finishing with two losses. This will require some careful skating, but they might have the pieces to pull it off.
What do you think, assuming FSU has the tie-breaker over Clemson and is crowned ACC Champion at 11-2 should they still be in the college football playoff?
Can you smell that? It’s the smell of football as Camp is set to begin this upcoming Tuesday.
Here’s what every top 25 team needs to accomplish this August.
I can’t be the only one that’s been wondering how John James Fisher became Jimbo Fisher.
Should Power 5 schools only schedule Power 5 schools? Yes according to FSU’s week 1 opponent Nick Saban.
FSU freshman center Brady Scott is continuing the tradition of scooters and remarkably bad luck regarding FSU players:
I got hit by a car on my scooter, I did not crash it. https://t.co/CxXaBAdv7k

He’s okay enough to tweet.
Recruiting:
Florida State has offered junior college defensive end Azur Kamara:

The latest Nolecast has everything you to know about the current status of #Tribe18 & #Tribe19
FSU has a really good shot at landing elite defensive back recruit Houston Griffith from IMG Academy (VIP).
An obviously Georgia centered interview with Justin Fields but there’s some good things in here from Fields that FSU fans might find interesting.
Alumni:
Dalvin Cook is maturing, he’s fishing, and all of a sudden he’s RB1 in Minnesota.
Jimbo Fisher didn’t stutter; he firmly believes that Jameis Winston will be in Canton one day.
Xavier Rhodes is about to get P-A-I-D.
