With the release of this week’s AP poll just after noon on Monday, the Florida State basketball team stayed put in the No. 24 spot despite an 0-1 week.
A week ago, the Seminoles sat at No. 24 in the AP poll and No 25 in the Coaches poll. FSU played in just one game this week, suffering its second loss of the season, 100-93, at No. 4 Duke on Saturday. Still, this was not held against the Seminoles in the AP poll as they remain ranked 24th with a chance to boost their status this week.
Should FSU fall out of the Coaches poll, it will have a prime chance to win its way right back in with two matchups against ranked teams this week. Florida State begins its home ACC slate Wednesday against No. 13 North Carolina and then travels to No. 15 Miami Sunday to take on the Hurricanes.
