Florida State football, recruiting news: Son of FSU football Hall of Famer receives offer

Fans may recognize the name on the back of the potential future ‘Nole.

Well, it’s been a little while since I’ve written one of these so here it goes....

Football:

Here’s the latest plans for Florida State football practice after Hurricane Michael slammed the region on Wednesday.

Former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant, who is transferring after losing the starting role to true freshman Trevor Lawrence, could stay in the ACC as Bryant is reportedly making a visit to UNC.

Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson spoke about his team’s plans for the bye week. The Seminoles, who also have a bye this week, will face the Demon Deacons in their next game on October 20th.

Recruiting:

Florida State legend Deion Sanders’ son, Shilo Sanders, received an offer from the Seminoles. The 2019 prospect is a cornerback hailing from Cedar Hill (Trinity Catholic) Tx. and is ranked as the No. 1074 overall prospect in the class according to 247 sports. He has 11 total offers including ones from Georgia, Nebraska, South Carolina, Oregon, Texas A&M, Syracuse, UCF, and SMU among others.

The Tampa Bay Times thinks the 2018 season could be Jameis Winston’s best year yet in the NFL.
