Football:
Brian Burns is having a big-time season and it’s one of the reasons FSU is near the tops in the nation when it comes to getting to the quarterback.
Eyes on the enemy; with FSU on a bye we might get a chance to laugh at some rival misfortune.
Miami? West Virginia? Who’s on upset alert this weekend?
The hits keep coming for Alabama’s defense; this time it’s cornerback Trevon Diggs.
2018 Alabama is on pace to break a couple of 2013 FSU’s records so far although FSU’s schedule was significantly stronger at the same point in the season.
FSU is ninth in this ACC Power Poll.
Florida State 3-3/1-3 (9): Florida State looked better than it has all season for three quarters of Saturday’s 28-27 rivalry loss to Miami, but in the end, a porous offensive line came back to haunt the Seminoles once again. Quarterback Deondre Francois was sacked six times, and the rushing game managed just 70 yards. On a positive note, the Seminoles moved the ball well in the first half and their defense held the Hurricanes in check until late in third quarter. Next: Bye

FSU visited four-star safety commitment Nick Cross and he’s 100% committed. (VIP)
“Yeah I’m still 100 percent and I don’t see that changing,” “Rome wasn’t built in a day. Can’t panic too early. The team has shown flashes of what we can be. We can be scary. So I think everyone should hold on tight because it is coming together, slowly but surely, but it will get to where it needs to be.”
The head honcho, Willie Taggart, is taking full advantage of the bye week by visiting multiple recruits, such as
5-star LB Nakobe Dean,
5-star OL Kardell Thomas,
4-star OL Will Putnam,
5-star CB commitment Akeem Dent,
& 4-star CB, Kaiir Elam
