Deondre Francois says that execution was key in FSU’s win over Wake Forest

It took a minute for FSU’s signal-caller & skill players to get on the same page

NCAA Football: Wake Forest at Florida State Glenn Beil-USA TODAY Sports

After a slow start on Offense FSU rattled off 38 unanswered points to defeat Wake Forest 38-17. It was a big day for Francois as the ACC’s leading passer continues to rack up the yards with another 300-yard performance; this time adding 356 yards & 2 TDs through the air.

Deondre Francois thought that the offensive line played very well today and was not the reason for FSU’s slow start on offense:

“The O-line did well; they did really well. Early on, us not playing well, wasn’t on them it was on the skill positions; me, receivers not being on the same page and once we got on the same page things started clicking. They did a great job run blocking today; you see Cam break a long, Jacques had some good runs. They played a great game.”

Francois was very complimentary of his offensive line today.

He also commented on Tre’shaun Harrison’s development and on how how he’s one of the most special players he’s ever seen with the ball in his hands.
