Florida State football, recruiting news: A Five-star offensive lineman is visiting FSU this weekend

An anonymous donor matched Willie Taggart’s one million dollar donation

Here’s the latest film review; breaking down what went right and wrong vs. Wake Forest.

It’s been a rough start for the Taggart Era but there’s reason for optimism writes Andrea Adelson.

Each one of them needs to get back to how they felt when they decided to come to Florida State. For whatever reason, some of them have gotten away from that. And we’ve got some guys that love it. You can see it the way they practice, the way they play. They do it daily but there’s some guys who want to take the easy route. You don’t do that here at Florida State. That’s part of the culture we’ve got to get out of here. It’s happening, slowly but surely.

An anonymous donor was inspired by Willie Taggart’s $1 million dollar pledge to the Unconquered campaign; so they matched it. Seriously.

Speaking of Willie Taggart he spoke on FSU’s preparation for Clemson and some of the game-changing special teams plays.

Marvin Wilson & Nolan McDonald are admirable young men; the type of personalities you want on your football team:

It’s not even November yet; more chaos is coming.

The NFL fired an official for incompetence; maybe the ACC should take notice.

Kirk Herbstreit thinks that Brian Burns will be the key to FSU being competitive tomorrow.

Dabo Swinney thinks that Tamorrion Terry is going to be a really special player; similar to Clemson’s own Justyn Ross.

5-star Offensive Lineman Kardell Thomas remains committed to LSU & that’s probably not going to change but he really does like Florida State. (VIP)

“I have been committed for three years. Three years. If I wanted to decommit, it could have happened. But I am going to Florida State to see what they are talking about again. And I do like Florida State, I am not going to lie. But I’m a Tiger.”

It’s his second visit to Florida State following a visit in the summer.

Four-star running back, Tyrion Davis, and teammate of Kardell Thomas will be visiting officially as well. (VIP)

Four-star Offensive Tackle commitment Charles Cross, received his All-American Bowl (formerly known as Army All-American) jersey:

He joins possible future teammates Sam Howell, Nick Cross, Deonte Lucas, and Quashon Fuller in accepting invites to the prestigious All-star game.

Other Sports:

Normally being picked to finish seventh in a 16-team conference would be an insult but when you play in the best conference in America; Men’s Basketball being picked seventh could easily mean a top-20 team nationally.

Women’s Basketball was picked to finish seventh, too.
