Watch: ABC/WatchESPN

Listen: ‘Nole Radio Network, Tiger Radio Network

Weather: Finally, FINALLY. Tallahassee is getting a taste of fall weather. A cold front dumped a bunch of rain the last couple days but has cleared out. The temperature will be around 65 degrees at kickoff and will be nearing 70 by the end of the game. Winds, out the WNW at 10 MPH.

The Spread: Vegas isn’t buying what the ‘Noles are selling against the #2 team in the land. The line opened at Tigers by 17 and that’s where it currently sits. Check out the rest of your college football spreads here.

There is no doubt that Florida State has improved since tanking on the road against Syracuse. Willie Taggart has done an excellent job adjusting to the personnel he has and position coaches have gotten more out of an offense that looked flat-lined to start the year. Unfortunately, the ‘Noles welcome Clemson’s number 2 defense to Doak. For an offense that is still hurt, young, and inexperienced along the offensive line, that task of blocking this much talent may be impossible.

The ‘Noles will need a whole lot of things to go right, a bunch of luck to swing their way, and maybe some hope from the officials to win. In this type of game, winning isn’t the only objective. Look for continued improved against an excellent team. The experience will be important for the bowl eligibility fight and into another rebuilding year.
