Football:

Defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett spoke with the media prior to Wednesday’s practice. He talked about the importance of getting physical and maybe facing star Eagles running back A.J. Dillon.

The Seminoles will be honoring the military during this Saturday’s game against Boston College. Send them your photos to have them featured during the game!

Recruiting:

The Seminoles have offered 2019 3-star CB Jarvis Brownlee. He is currently committed to Miami, but called Florida State his “dream school.”

Florida State also offered Brownlee’s fellow teammate 3-star DT Malcolm Ray today. He is currently committed to the University of South Florida.

FSU Cross Country coach Kelly Phillips was named South Region Women’s Coach of the year. Phillips, in her fourth year with the program, led the Seminoles to the South Region title with 60 points. This is the third time that Phillips has been named Women’s Coach of the Year in the South Region, but her first with Florida State.

Mircheva, a senior from Dorbich, Bulgaria, won the individual title at the South Region Championships in 20:17.0. Mircheva is the first Florida State female athlete to be named Regional Athlete of the Year since Colleen Quigley in 2014.

This Friday is Florida State Volleyball’s Senior Night and final home game of the year!
