Anthony Edwards (Atlanta/Holy Spirit) a 6’5 shooting guard has reclassified from the 2020 class to the 2019 class, according to multiple sources:

Edwards has been on FSU’s recruiting radar for quite a while (Leonard Hamilton is GREAT at identifying talent early) and most observers believe the Seminoles lead for his services. The other main contenders are Michigan State, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Georgia. He’s currently planning to take official visits to Michigan State and FSU with other officials to be determined. He’s already taken unofficial visits to FSU, Clemson, and Auburn.
Edwards is a 5* talent who has a multi-dimensional offensive game. He is extremely explosive driving to the rim. He combines that athleticism with an improving three point shot:
Too much of a savage for the class of 2020, Anthony Edwards is reclassifying to the 2019 class.

He plays with the Atlanta Xpress on the Under Armour circuit (M.J. Walker’s club team) where he averaged 21 points and 6.1 boards a game on 49% shooting (45%, 3PT).
Edwards will be rated by 247Sports as the #1 player in the 2019 class (ahead of James Wiseman) when the reclassification becomes official. There have been eight crystal ball submissions predicting Edwards’ eventual landing spot and all eight currently have him heading to Tallahassee.
Florida State currently has a large recruiting class featuring Patrick Williams, Balsa Koprivica, Nathanael Jack, Naheem McLeod, and Zimife Nwokeji. This class is currently ranked 12th nationally by 247Sports, but that ranking will skyrocket if Edwards joins the class.
Edwards would be the highest ranked (and rated) recruit FSU has landed since 2000 (the first year in the 247Sports database). He currently has a rating of .9993 which is higher than the current top rated Seminole ever - Jonathan Isaac (.9972).
