It’s down to the final five for a five-star, game-changing scorer— one who could be a program changer for Florida State. Anthony Edwards, of Holy Spirit Preparatory School in Atlanta, has narrowed his list down to Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, and FSU.
And some important omissions exist regarding that list. Earlier in December, a week after taking an official visit to UGA, Edwards revealed that his remaining officials would go to Duke, Michigan State, Kansas, and Florida State. But now, the Blue Devils and Spartans are nowhere to be found among Edwards’ top five, and UCLA, which had been included in Edwards’ top 8, didn’t make the cut either.
FSU is still considered the favorite for Edwards (6’5, 215), who is the best prospect from the Peach State and the No. 4 overall recruit in the country for the class of 2019. We’ll keep you posted on his recruitment.
