No. 7 FSU baseball travels to No. 2 UF, game thread: Tuesday 6 PM

It has been five years since the ‘Noles won in Gainesville.

NCAA Baseball: Troy at Florida State Joe Rondone-USA TODAY Sports

The Seminoles were undefeated entering last week’s road series at Wake Forest, by the end of the weekend Florida State had a 14-2 record. Losing both games of Saturday’s doubleheader wasn’t ideal but it was obvious that the ‘Noles were feeling the effects of playing 8 games over the span of 9 days. The Gators also went 3-2 last week dropping out of the number one overall ranking in some of the polls. The Noles were swept in all three games they faced Florida last season, have not won in Gainesville since 2013 and have been on the losing end 10 of the last 11 meetings.
