No Sweat. At least, not in Tallahassee, not any more. Talented Florida State edge rusher Josh Sweat is bound for Philadelphia, having just been selected in the fourth round by the Eagles with the 130th overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Sweat (6’5, 251) was, at one point, easily the top high school recruit in the country for the class of 2015 before suffering a catastrophic knee injury during his senior season. Despite that sizable setback, he rebounded quickly to contribute to the Seminoles as a true freshman. Having battled injuries and consistency issues, Sweat’s ceiling remains a bit of an unknown— he certainly turned some heads at the NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis last month, thanks to his notable athleticism.

Sweat will join fellow ’Noles Ronald Darby, Timmy Jernigan and Nigel Bradham on the Philadelphia roster.
