Mike Martin, FSU look to sweep series against Miami and make history

Seminoles.com

After two consecutive wins this weekend against ACC rival Miami, No. 16 Florida State will look for the sweep in today’s game against the Hurricanes. After stellar pitching performances from Drew Parrish and CJ Van Eyk on Friday and Saturday, respectively, Andrew Karp will start on the mound today and look to make history for the Seminoles’ head coach Mike Martin. With a ’Noles victory today, Martin would effectively become the winningest head coach in college baseball, passing former Texas head coach Augie Garrido’s record of 1,975 wins.
