Correction: Ohio State first had the record with 12 players selected in the 2016 NFL Draft; sorry Buckeye fans.

Alabama tied Ohio State’s 2016 record of 12 picks in a single draft just ahead of Florida State’s record of 11 for most players selected in a single draft which was done in the 2013 & 2015 NFL Drafts.

Florida State’s first opponent this fall is dealing with a staff shake-up. Co-defensive coordinator Galen Scott is retiring amid misconduct allegations.

Most of FSU’s elite talent this year will be members of the sophomore class; could Stanford Samuels III be the next first round draft pick from DBU?

Or considering that two 5’10 corner-backs just got drafted in the first round don’t sleep on Levonta Taylor.

Other Sports:

FSU Softball just won its sixth ACC championship in a row:

FSU Baseball dropped the series finale vs. Miami after dominating the first two games; Mike Martin is now just one win away from the all-time record.

The Chargers’ selection of Derwin James is already being noticed by its top west coast targets:

Four-star defensive end Curtis Fann took a visit to FSU.

Quaterback commitment Sam Howell is tearing up the camp circuit.

Standing within a solid quarterback group, there were times Sunday where Sam Howell was arguably the top prospect in attendance. The Indian Trail (N.C.) Sun Valley four-star and recent Florida State commitment isn’t afraid to push the football down the field into tight windows and take chances. Several paid off for the righty, who displayed accuracy and consistency through most of the day. Howell’s good impression began early with drills, where the footwork portion of the day looked easy for the 225-pounder. Following the effort, he was invited to the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game, the only camper to pick up the honor as it concluded.

It was an eventful weekend for Florida State with six players being drafted and another seven signing undrafted free agent deals.

Derwin James and Dalvin Cook have more in common than attending Florida State University; they share same jersey number:

Coming real soon went from 3 to 33 just call it a supercharge ⚡️⚡️
