Florida State football, recruiting news: Who will win the spring game this Saturday?

Football:

With the FSU Football spring draft complete and the rosters set which team are you picking this Saturday? Speaking of the spring game the uniforms will not be the traditional garnet and gold.

With Auden Tate off to the NFL Draft there’s a vacuum at wide receiver and Tamorrion ‘Trinidad’ Terry is ready to fill that vacuum.

The Seminoles wrapped up their final Saturday practice with a bang.

FSU’s newest WR, former DB Ontaria Wilson, is taking well to the position.

Florida State is trending for 247’s top-ranked quarterback, Sam Howell, and he could be on campus again this Saturday. (VIP)

“I’m just looking forward to seeing how the players are flying around the field and seeing how Coach (Willie) Taggart has it going,” Howell said.

Other contenders for the 6-foot-1, 217-pound Howell includes Clemson, Florida, North Carolina and N.C. State. Holding over 30 offers, FSU offensive coordinator Walt Bell was first to offer when he was at Maryland.

“Me and Coach Bell have a great relationship,” Howell said. “I really like what he does on the offensive side of the ball. That’s probably what fires me up the most about them.”

2020’s top defensive tackle and 2020’s top all-purpose back both took visits to FSU this past weekend.

Ryan Green didn’t get many carries at Florida State but he’ll have a chance to impress the Buccaneers.

Not much of a surprise but Derwin James will be at the Draft on draft day.
