Florida State plays their annual “hope for rain series” by hosting the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers. The likelihood that FSU loses any of these games is very small but playing the 259 ranked RPI team can only hurt Florida State so fans that would like the Seminoles to host a Super Regional should pray that none of these games be played. FSU’s RPI is high enough that it’s not likely to affect their standing much but every little bit helps.
