No. 16 FSU baseball game thread, ‘Noles Mike Martin one game away from all-time record: Saturday 6:30 PM

Florida State starts their last road series against the Atlantic leading Tigers.

Florida State hosts Stetson Steve Johnson

With only 2 ACC series left Florida State finds itself in a position to make some moves. First on the slate is Clemson, which lead the Atlantic division after NC State was swept by North Carolina. Currently FSU sits just behind Clemson and just outside of being a national seed in D1 Baseball’s latest field of 64 projection. A series win would certainly help Florida State’s cause come Selection Monday but taking just 1 game could keep FSU in striking distance. Likely their possibility of getting a national seed depends on not getting swept at Clemson and winning the series at home in 2 weeks against NC State. Dropping only 1 game this weekend would also put Florida State at .500 for the year on the road which is at least respectable.

FSU Overall: 31-14 // ACC: 13-10 // Home: 23-6 // Away: 8-7 // Neutral: 0-1 // Last 10: 7-3

vs.

Clemson Overall: 34-11 // ACC: 17-7 // Home: 21-5 // Away: 11-5 // Neutral: 2-1 // Last 10: 9-1
