Football

Vegas recently came out with updated odds on the biggest games in college football this upcoming season. Eight Florida State games were on the list.

The Seminoles’ first opponent this season, the Virginia Tech Hokies, have already suffered multiple losses on defense during the offseason. They just lost another one — starting Nickel back Mook Reynolds.

Who remembers when Greg Reid saved the day during Bobby Bowden’s final home game as head coach? We do too, and that’s why we put it at No. 56 on our countdown of the top-100 plays in FSU football history.

You can find the full list of plays 56-100 here.

Recruiting

Florida State is in the top-10 for the No. 2 running back in the 2020 class, Kendall Milton.

Willie Taggart and the Seminoles just offered a four-star running back from Louisiana.

Emery also maintains offers from Mississippi State, Florida, and Alabama.

Alumni

The news broke Monday that former FSU defensive back Marquez White has been charged with second-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Read the full story here.

White was drafted in the sixth round by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2017 draft. He spent this past season on the Cowboys practice squad.

Other Sports

In case you’ve missed it, former Florida State basketball players Jonathan Isaac and Braian Angola have been lighting it up for the Orlando Magic in the NBA summer league. They dominated once again against the Grizzlies this weekend.
