Florida State football, recruiting news: Elite recruits ready to visit FSU

FSU’s Saturday Night Live event is two weeks and they’ve already had multiple five-star recruits RSVP’d the event.

Four-star defensive tackle target Tyler Davis has four tied at the top, Florida State, Clemson, Miami, and Ohio State. (VIP)

However, the Buckeyes now have more competition than ever at the top for Davis. On multiple occasions Davis had previously said Ohio State and Clemson were his top two. But two more schools have joined the Buckeyes and Tigers at the top of Davis’ list.

“I have a top four now,” Davis said. “It’s a tie between Florida State, Miami, Clemson and Ohio State.”

Five-star running back target Trey Sanders updated his recruitment including a possible visit to FSU.


Walt Bell and Harlon Barnett were both ranked as top ten coordinator hires by Athlon Sports.

Florida State’s tight-ends are inexperienced but there’s a lot of talent at the position led by Tre Mckitty.
