The Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha standout made a Florida State official visit recently and he speaks to the Seminoles, Alabama, Florida and Penn State regularly, and a decision is coming. ”It will be a couple of weeks, hopefully,” the 6-foot 1/2, 208-pound Cross after working out at The Opening Finals at The Star. “I don’t have a set date, but it should be soon.”
Cross made official visits to each of the four schools, and the Florida State trip was one he waited on for a while. ”I liked the visit, it was a good area,” he said. “I liked the whole atmosphere, the coaches are very warm, the players were very accepting. I enjoyed it.” Not only did Cross bond well with the people in the program, but he also liked what he saw on the campus and from an academic standpoint.
Just a few tidbits about 2018 ACC season football; a conference right now that looks to field one elite team and a bunch of pretty good ones.
