Football

Florida State football players are reaching for opportunities in facets of life other than sports this summer. Five-star FSU player Joshua Kaindoh is pushing outside of the football bubble with a medical internship this summer.

1989 was a transitional year for FSU. The transition from the 1988 talent laden team to the 1989 team began with two straight losses and a fall from the AP poll. The standout cornerback from Mississippi, Terrell Buckley, was one of the players that helped turned things around in 1989. His punt return against Syracuse on October 7th comes in at No. 33 on our top-100 plays in Florida State football history.

SBnation lays out what we currently know about Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer being placed on administrative leave Wednesday.

Recruiting

The FSU football recruiting class of 2018 was left for dead when Jimbo Fisher bolted to Texas A&M. Willie Taggart helped bring that class from the low 60s all the way up to as high as 10th in the country on some websites. He’s already turning heads on the recruiting trail in the state of Florida, as is one other team in the state that sports the color orange.

Four-star defensive back Brendan Gant committed to the Seminoles this past Sunday, but just tweeted out his official offer from FSU.
