The Seminoles stuck with the traditional garnet and gold this past weekend against Samford, and while watching the game may have been detrimental to the health of Florida State fans everywhere, they got the win. Keeping with that same mentality, the ‘Noles will wear traditional white and gold away uniforms when they travel to Syracuse to face the Orange in Willie Taggart’s first away game as head coach.
The last time we saw FSU don the white and gold was last year against Florida. While many are trying to scrub last years’ season from memory, the business trip to Gainesville went rather swimmingly. The ‘Noles will hope to replicate that result as they get this Florida State team back on track.
You can check out this week’s uniforms in the hype video posted by Florida State football below. About 11 seconds into the video a gold face mask can be seen, which suggests the Seminoles could break out an alternate helmet at some point in the future. We’ll get to see how the ‘Noles will take the field as the uniform combinations are released every Monday morning for the remainder of the season.
