Four star forward London Clarkson commits to FSU women’s basketball

Clarkson is the third member of FSU’s 2019 class.

London Clarkson (Pflugerville, TX) committed to Florida State on Sunday. The 6’1 Clarkson is a consensus four-star recruit. Clarkson chose FSU over LSU, Texas, Kansas and Kentucky. Clarkson is currently not a member of the ESPN 100 but she is ranked #93 by MaxPreps and #68 by Prospects Nation.

Clarkson is the third member of FSU’s 2019 class. She joins 5* recruits River Baldwin (#27, ESPN) and Sammie Puisis (#37, ESPN). FSU’s 2018 class was a consensus top five class. The 2019 class seems destined to be in the top 10 or 15.

Clarkson is a player who is comfortable in the low post but she has a reliable mid range jumper as well. Clarkson is also an active rebounder who runs the floor well.

Florida State will not lose anyone to graduation after the 2018-19 season. Therefore, unless there are injuries or transfers the Seminoles are set to have 14 players on the active roster for the 2019-20 season. With that many players on the roster it seems likely that the Noles are finished with the 2019 class.
