FSU basketball lands JUCO prospect

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-West Regional-Michigan vs Florida State Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

The 2019 class is beginning to take shape, as coach Leonard Hamilton and crew added their 2nd commitment today. JUCO prospect Nathanael Jack from Mississauga, Ontario (Canada) committed today while on an official visit.

The 6-4 wing plays at Eastern Florida State College, and chose FSU over Texas Tech, Arizona State, Dayton, and others. His recruitment has blown up in the past couple of months after putting on a show at a pro day hosted by the college.

In his freshman season, Jack made 40% of his 3s, while attempting over seven a game. Prior to Eastern Florida State he spent a season at Calusa Prep in Miami.

He joins 3* Zimife Nwokeji in the 2019 recruiting cycle, which is expected to bring in a huge class of 5-6 players.

He’s expected to sign in the November signing period.
