Clear skies, no rain, winds ENE at 7 mph.
The Spread: Vegas hasn’t lost all faith in FSU. The ‘Noles are favored again in their second road game of the year. The line opened at -4 and currently sits at -6.5 or -7. Check out the rest of your college football spreads here.

Last week, head coach Willie Taggart made adjustments and squeezed some life out the Florida State offense. Without numerous self inflicted mistakes, FSU may have been able to put away NIU away in the early 3rd quarter. Still, improvement was improvement. It was a must win to keep hopes of bowl eligibility alive, but just as important, it was an opportunity to gain confidence and figure out some things that will work moving forward this season.
Florida State still has a ton tow work on including mitigating the mash unit up front, finding a run game, limiting bad turnovers, and keeping mental mistakes to a minimum. Fortunately, they travel to play Louisville. A team that has fallen off the cliff after losing star quarterback Lamar Jackson. Their defense is playing better while their offense is atrocious. It’s bizzaro Bobby Petrino world.
No matter how bad the Cardinal is this year, Florida State can’t afford a 4 or 5 turnover game on the road against an ACC opponent. Hopefully, the offense keeps improving and gets more comfortable as the season moves on. It’s another must win for FSU if they want to play a thirteenth game in 2018.
