Recruiting:

FSU got a big offensive line commitment over the weekend, literally; as Northern Illinois graduate transfer offensive tackle Ryan Roberts is headed to FSU.

With both Ricky Aguayo & Logan Tyler entering their senior seasons; a specialist is needed; good thing an All-American that broke all of Georgia’s High School records committed to FSU last night.

Florida State had about a dozen recruits on campus this past weekend.

Three-star offensive lineman Kamar Bell says that it’s neck and neck with Auburn & he might come back next weekend with his teammate, 3-star DB Jay Ward whom is scheduled to visit officially.

FSU’s culture, it’s chemistry. It’s different. The good kind of different according to top 100 DL Charles Moore; whom took an official visit this past weekend.

“I would say this is probably the best school I’ve been to so far,” Moore said of FSU. “As far as the campus life, what they offer academically and with the players and coaches that are here, I like it a lot.”

Football:

Thoughts and prayers to the loved one of Al Dunlap; the staple among FSU athletics (with his name everywhere on campus) passed away Saturday night.

FSU’s new staff likely isn’t finished making changes yet there’s already excitement surrounding the two announced new hires.

Other Sports:

Two road contests; two road victories for FSU’s top-25 Basketball programs.

Women’s Basketball secured a comeback victory at Virginia Tech.

Men’s Basketball dominated the Hurricanes in Coral Gables.

Both programs return to Tallahassee this week with the women taking on Miami on Thursday and the men taking on Georgia Tech on Saturday. A long needed rest for the Men’s program after multiple two games in 3 days trips over the past couple of weeks.

Alumni:

Two-pro bowlers, two all-pros putting on a show at the Pro-Bowl. Derwin James & Jalen Ramsey are the future of elite defensive back play in the NFL:

Speaking of Jalen Ramsey this second interception in the end-zone is just absurd:

Demarcus Christmas impressed during Senior Bowl week.
