We now know when Florida State will take on the Boston College Eagles following the ’Noles’ matchup this weekend with the rival Miami Hurricanes, and it’s good news.
The ACC has announced FSU will fly north for the winter to take on the Eagles at noon, 12:00 p.m. eastern, with the game being broadcast on the ACC Network. That’s a great time. Not only will it be warmer during the day, but FSU also avoids the night-time atmosphere in Chestnut Hill.
With one week between now and then the Seminoles are currently 4-4 (3-3 ACC) while the Eagles are also 4-4 (2-3 ACC). Boston College will play Syracuse this weekend. FSU is coming off a great 35-17 win against the Orange last weekend.
The Eagles starting quarterback Anthony Brown was recently ruled out for the rest of the season with a leg injury. Brown is a redshirt-junior this season. The Eagles are coming off a 59-7 clubbing at the hands of Trevor Lawrence and the Clemson Tigers. Sophomore Eagles QB Dennis Grosel and freshman Matt Valecce both got some attempts in that game.
Last season Florida State beat Boston College in dramatic overtime fashion 22-21.
