Will the Seminoles become bowl eligible this week?

NCAA Football: Florida State at Boston College Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

Interim head coach Odell Haggins will speak with the media on Monday afternoon for the Florida State Seminoles’ weekly press conference after taking down the Boston College Eagles (5-5) (3-4 ACC) on Saturday afternoon.

The Seminoles will prepare to host the Alabama State Hornets in hopes of becoming bowl eligible before hitting the road to face a very good Gators team in Gainesville for the last game of the regular season. The game against the Hornets will be broadcast on ACCN Extra and FSU is the heavy favorite (-40.5). With the project victory over the Hornets and the projected loss to Florida, the Seminoles’ new bowl projections are becoming pretty clear.

While Florida State has yet to announce a new head coach for the program and it is unlikely it will be announced today, we will continue to update any information that we learn on FSU football’s head-coaching search.
