Florida State football, recruiting news: Marvin Wilson’s FSU career is likely over

How will FSU stop AJ Dillon without Big Marv?

Football:

Marvin Wilson had surgery and his season is over; that means the likely first or second round draft pick’s time in Tallahassee is done as well.

AJ Dillon is fresh off a 242 yard performance vs. Syracuse so the teeth of FSU’s defense will have their work cut out for them.

For someone who was done talking about Florida State this is probably the fourth snippet of audio/words that Kirk Herbstreit has said about FSU in about 96 hours.

We have different definitions of done.

There’s a report that Mike Norvell is in the coaching search mix for FSU; that is very unlikely.

FSU is on the ACC Network again so if you don’t have it you’ll have to find other options to watch.

Should FSU hire an established coach no matter what?

Other Sports:

Conference games in November are a terrible idea; conference road games in November with ACC refs is just torture.

Tomorrow Women’s Basketball travels to LSU for a contest:

No. 5 Florida State will take on No. 1 Virginia today for a birth to the ACC Championship final; The ACC’s Midfielder of the year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Offensive player of the year will be on the field and they’ll all be wearing Garnet and Gold:

Recruiting:

There’s been three commitments in the last week; two possibly the result of Willie Taggart’s firing but the bulk of #Tribe20 remains intact.
