Recruiting:

The visitor’s list for this weekend continues to add more names; four-star wide receiver target Bryan Robinson is now visiting.

With the decommitment of Jeff Sims, Austin Renfro just became that much more important:

Mike Norvell hasn’t given up on edge rusher and former commitment Morven Joseph. (VIP)

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell made his way by Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson on Thursday morning. Lake Gibson is home to former FSU pledge, three-star weak-side defensive end Morven Joseph.

Joseph was previously expected in this coming weekend for an official visit, but after decommitting from the Seminoles last Friday, he changed those plans.

Joseph parted ways with the Seminoles while on an official visit to Florida. When he wrapped his visit in Gainesville, he stated that he would no longer be visiting the Seminoles and intended to decide between the Gators and Tennessee on Dec. 19th.

Current TE commitment Carter Boatwright has remained steadfast in his commitment to FSU; he’s OV’ing this weekend:

Football:

The official details of Mike Norvell’s contract are out. Starting at 3.75 million and rising a quarter-million annually it’s a contract that is somewhat FSU friendly; you’ll notice a significant bump in money towards assistants & support staff.

Willie Taggart is officially head coach at FAU; he regrets not having enough time to finish the job at FSU respectfully.

Former Seminole Zaquandre White committed to South Carolina.

So what do we know about FSU’s newest defensive coordinator.

Other Sports:

Congratulations Trent Forrest; he’s graduating today.

Kiah Gillespie is a member of this week’s national starting five.

Alumni:

It’s Derwin vs. Dalvin this weekend; the two former Seminole All-Americans are bound to knock heads this weekend.

Jameis Winston broke his thumb against the Colts but is determined to play this Sunday.
