No. 13 FSU baseball game thread: vs Mercer, Friday 6 PM

The ‘Noles face the Bears in the first game of the homestand.

Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

Another wet week kept Florida State off the diamond as their game with South Florida was cancelled due to rain. The Seminoles are 60-8 all-time against the Bears including 22 straight with their last metting coming during the 2015 Regionals. Mercer’s has swept both of their weekend series against Evansville and Alabama A&M and took two of threee from Florida A&M in weekday games. Their ace has yet to allowed an earned run on the season while striking out 13 and issuing only a single walk. FSU’s Drew Parrish will try to get back on track after a less than stellar start against Youngstown State last weekend.
