Check it out:
Coach Hamilton and some of Florida State’s basketball team shared their thoughts as well.
Coach Hamilton: Ham thanked FSU fans for packing Madison Social in support of the team. He said:
I think it shows a lot of enthusiasm for our program. We’ve given our fans something more to cheer about and our fans have been there for us in those moments when we need a boost. They’ve given us a little extra sixth man in the stands to kind of excite us a little bit, give us an adrenaline rush that maybe has helped us through some of the challenging parts of games.
Guard Terance Mann: Mann grew up around Hartford and is excited to play near his home. He feels that the team “will definitely be more focused and prepared for what’s going on this year.”

He said that “it was great to be a part of and that I’m very thankful.” On the Seminoles’ selection, he stated: “I believe we have a very good chance to get to the final four, so overall, I’m happy. We had a really good season and played well in the ACC Tournament. And, It’s all familiar faces in Michigan, Gonzaga. Texas Tech is a great team, so a lot of talent in the West, and I’m happy we’re apart of it.” Kabengele also feels Florida State has a new level of expectation now. “We’re Florida State, we’re a great program, we’re growing every single year. This year, I feel like it’s a high expectation.”
