The Gonzaga Bulldogs have opened as a seven point favorite over Florida State in their Sweet Sixteen matchup Thursday night.
And Gonzaga is looking for revenge for getting bounced from last year’s tournament by the Seminoles, also in the Sweet Sixteen and as a favorite.
This team is no stranger to disrespect, but they boast a winning record over other Sweet Sixteen teams and absolutely belong.
The Tallahassee Democrat looks at the last five years of FSU Men’s basketball, the culture change, and what they’ve been able to accomplish.
As Phil Cofer mourns the loss of his father, he’s not expected to make the trip to play Gonzaga. The team dedicated their game against Murray State, and the rest of their season, to Cofer and his family.
The Women’s basketball team may have lost and seen their season come to an end, but what they’ve been able to accomplish this season has been nothing short of remarkable and bodes well for the future:

➡️ Lost all ✋ starters from last year.
➡️ Did not have a single senior.
It’s been a fulfilling year. Better believe we’ll be back for more in 2019-20 | #FSUWBB pic.twitter.com/PTplfKvJ09

The Men’s baseball team has struggled recently, but after a solid week they’ve moved up the polls. They will take on the Florida Gators tonight in Jacksonville.

Alumni:
Brian Burns has visits scheduled with every NFL team picking in the top ten of the NFL Draft:
After his pro day on Thursday, Burns has visits/meetings scheduled with every single team drafting in the top 10 with the exception of the #Jets (yet, anyway). Lot of interest in the bendy edge rusher who sits in the top 5 of @DraftNetworkLLC consensus board.

Even if the top teams pass on him, this two round mock draft has Burns not waiting long to hear his name called.
