The Seminoles are looking to avoid their 10th straight loss to the Gators tonight in Jacksonville. Florida State has lost nine games in a row and 14 of their last 15 to Florida dating back to June of 2015. Both of these teams were ranked in the top ten when they met earlier this month and UF embarassed FSU by a 20-7 score.
The Gators have struggled mightly since then averaging just 5.5 runs per game while allowing 10.0 runs per game all while going just 2-5. The Seminoles have also struggled, a 4-5 record, since their last meeting with the Gators while being exposed both defensively and on the mound.
