Basketball:

The men’s basketball team has a difficult task in the Sweet 16, as the Seminoles face the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Thursday night. The ’Noles already know they will be without Phil Cofer, but will David Nichols be available for the game?

Head coach Willie Taggart went through his major observations from the first half of spring practices on the Willie Taggart Talk Show that aired on Monday night.

2020 offensive tackle, and current Kentucky commit, Gerald Mincey picked up an offer from Florida State yesterday. Mincey plays for Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

4-star wide receiver E. J. Williams will be visiting Tallhassee today. Williams plays for Central High School in Phenix City, AL and is a member of the 2020 recruiting class.

Alumni:

Alec Eberle is using his pro day workout as an opportunity to help raise money for Uplifting Athletes, which is a charity that assists people suffering from rare blood diseases.

Dwayne Bacon finished with a career-high 24 points in the Hornets’ overtime victory against the San Antonio Spurs.

Charlotte head coach James Borrego had some great things to say about Bacon after the game.

The FSU baseball team’s losing streak against the University of Florida now stands at 10 games.
