Florida State football, recruiting news: Still waiting on a waiver

Men’s basketball lands a top JUCO prospect.

Recruiting:

Composite four-star linebacker recruit Keyshawn Greene got to spend some time with his future position coach Raymond Woodie.

Football:

Florida State quarterback and Louisville transfer Jordan Travis is still waiting to hear back from the NCAA regarding his transfer waiver. It appears that intra-conference transfers bring complications.

Willie Taggart will attend the NFL Draft in support of Brian Burns, who is widely expected to be a top pick on the Draft’s opening night, April 25th.

A Florida Gator defensive lineman is entering the transfer portal.

Other Sports:

Conor Grady was named the ACC’s Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore went over 12 combined innings without allowing an earned run while striking out a whopping 20 batters.

Despite Grady’s performance and sweeping Clemson, the Baseball team is unranked for the third straight week.

The Men’s Basketball team landed a top JUCO guard from a familiar school. Get to know him better.

The No. 3 ranked Softball team dropped a doubleheader against North Carolina yesterday, 6-5 and 1-0. That series sweep means that after going seven years without losing a conference series they have now lost two this season. There are only seven home games left, starting with another showdown against the Florida Gators on April 17th.

Several top players from Florida State’s rivals around the ACC are testing the NBA Draft. Chief among them is superstar Zion Williamson.

The Women’s Swimming and Diving team had a successful season.
