With Easter this Sunday the Seminoles’ series with the Cavaliers was bumped up a day. Florida State travels to Charlottesville this weekend for the first series there since 2015. Similar to FSU, UVA is under performing this season and has a losing conference record after being swept at home last weekend against Miami.

Boyd’s World’s first RPI Needs Report came out this past week and while the Seminoles don’t have a realistic shot of hosting they can sneak in the field of 64 with a strong finish.

Top 32:

Top 8:

According to the predictions Florida State would have to win 17 of their remaining 20 games to finish between 32nd and 45th which would more than likely place them as a 3-seed in a regional. FSU could probably get away with 15 wins on the remainder of the season and still get in given their reputation and the strength of the conference they play in.
