Football:

FSU’s opener vs. Boise State will kick-off at 7pm on ESPN; FSU’s two other games will be played on the newly launched ACC Network.

The problem with the ACC Network is that as of right now it’s likely that your cable provider hasn’t agreed to carry it.

We’ve officially reached the under 100 days mark until the return of college football.

Trevor Lawrence is obviously the best QB in the ACC but after him? There’s a debate to be had and James Blackman is ready to make his case.

The addition of Kendal Briles as the team’s new play-caller and added competition along the offensive line should help to jumpstart Florida State’s offense in 2019. With Deondre Francois off the team, Blackman is the unquestioned starter in Tallahassee. The sophomore has plenty of experience under his belt. After an injury to Francois in 2017, Blackman started 11 games and threw for 2,230 yards and 19 touchdowns to 11 picks. The Florida native utilized a redshirt year in 2018 but took advantage of the new NCAA rule by playing in four games (with one start). Blackman passed for 421 yards and four scores in a 47-28 loss at NC State last season and completed three passes for 88 yards in a loss against Clemson. If the Seminoles get improved play in the trenches, Blackman could push for All-ACC honors in 2019

Coach Hamilton & Coach Taggart are concerned with the ease at which players are jumping into the transfer portal.

Recruiting:

QB commit Jeff Sims was impressive in his spring showcase; here are a few photos.

Coach Dugans and Coach Briles were in attendance.

They also went to see high-priority four-star target Arian Smith (VIP).

Coach Lockette was in his old stomping grounds seeing multiple targets last night.

Other Sports:

As of right now the game is not over because of a weather delay but it’s over. FSU Baseball was crushed embarrassingly so in the first game at Louisville.

The road to a second consecutive national championship starts this weekend:
