Florida State football, recruiting news: FSU has nearly flipped its linebacker room

What once was a position of weakness could very quickly become a position of strength

Recruiting:

FSU added four-star linebacker Jayion McCluster to its commit list on Wednesday. FSU has three linebackers committed: four-stars Keyshawn Greene & Jayion McCluster & three-star Stephen Dix, Jr. This is after signing four-stars Kalen Deloach & Jaleel McCrae (who had a great spring) and three-star inside linebacker Kevon Glenn.

That’s how you attack a position of weakness on the recruiting trail.

FSU has offered four-star 2021 TE Gage Wilcox:

FSU is in a good position for five-star OLB Sa’Vell Smalls; former teammate of current FSU WR Tre’shaun Harrison.

Four-star wide receiver Michael Redding plans on committing soon. FSU has a good shot at getting his commitment.

Football:
