With Florida State’s win on Saturday night they accomplished a feat that hadn’t been accomplished in 20 years. For the first time since 1999, the Seminoles won their first game in Omaha, breaking an 0-5 streak. Tonight’s game features two of the last four teams to make it into the field of 64 teams, like Florida State, Michigan has beaten some difficult teams to get to Omaha. The defeated the defending national champs, Oregon State, in the Corvallis regional and the won the best of three super regional against the number one overall national seed, UCLA.
