Football:

Willie Taggart’s first year was bad, no sugar coating necessary but a 67 year old HC that was ran out of Texas and hasn’t coached since 2013 should not be ahead of Willie Taggart or Dave Doeren for that matter in my opinion.

Light work for Cam Akers on the power clean:

Trevor Lawrence should sit out the next two years to preserve himself for the NFL; that might be extreme but he could start right now in the NFL.

Ranking the toughest games on FSU’s schedule doesn’t seem that difficult. Clemson 1, Florida 2, Virginia 3...wait. That could be right.

2019 is kind of like college football’s leap years as multiple teams this season will multiple bye weeks in their schedule.

Recruiting:

Three-star Cocoa guard Richie Leonard insists that FSU is still in it:

Four-star linebacker commitment Stephen Dix, Jr. reaffirmed his commitment to FSU during a Wednesday visit:

Four-star wide receiver & recent miami decommitment Bryan Robinson is expected to be on campus today.

Other Sports:

Congratulations Fi! Mfiondu Kabengele was taken by the Brooklyn Nets with the 27th pick of the 2019 NBA Draft. As a staunch Nets fan I was absolutely elated for fifteen seconds until I read that he was promptly traded to the Clippers. :(

Kabengele is FSU’s third 1st round draft pick in four years joining Jonathan Isaac in 2017 and Malik Beasley in 2016.

Fast forward approximately 90 minutes later & Terance Mann was selected by you guessed it, the Los Angeles Clippers with 48th pick of the NBA Draft.

Mike Martin addressing the team in the locker room for the final time is something special:

The boys received a hearty welcome back home after giving their best effort in Omaha:
