Recruiting:

Bryan Robinson decommitted from Miami and now it looks like he might be headed to Florida State.

Robinson visited FSU for about seven hours on Friday. He said goodbye to a slew of coaches after the long day -- including primary recruiter Ron Dugans, who secured a commitment from Robinson when he was coaching at Miami -- and then made it be known that FSU is the team to beat after he left campus.

“The top. The top. Top team,” Robinson said when asked where FSU stood following the visit. Why?

“They’ve got Dugans,” he said.

Coach Dugans is a prolific recruiter & it looks like he’s starting to make his mark early in short tenure so far at FSU.

FSU needs to lands offensive tackles and three-star offensive tackle Thomas Shrader is close to making a decision.

Another offensive tackle, three-star Michael Rankins was on campus on Friday. FSU offered him in mid-May:

Football:

Marvin WIlson & Logan Tyler are FSU’s lone representatives on College Football News’ pre-season All-ACC team.

And while Cam Akers & Stanford Samuels III did not make their pre-season All-ACC list they were named on their top 30 players in the ACC list.

Tamorrion Terry is what opposing defenses will be keying in on this year; all the more reason for DJ Matthews to realize his potential.

Athlon ranked all 130 FBS teams; FSU is a little bit outside the top 25 rankings.

Other Sports:

Mike Martin Jr. will succeed his father as head skipper at FSU; simply put given the resources FSU puts towards baseball Meat was the best choice available and his resume speaks for itself.

The Clippers earned a B+ on the night for taking Seminoles Mfiondu Kabengele & Terance Mann

Alumni:

Derwin James enter the countdown at No. 69....; there’s a reason we chose a gif for the headline image on his article.
