With a win tonight the Seminoles will make their 23rd appearance in Omaha. Florida State had a win for the ages yesterday against LSU and will once again have their worked cut out again in a hostile environment against a talented team. The ’Noles have the advantage as they are the home team and have the better pitcher on the mound in C.J. Van Eyk. A win this evening and the ’Noles will continue their pursuit of the their first national title in school history.
