Florida State football, recruiting news: QB commit Jeff Sims impressing at the Elite11

The premier off-season event is known for making qb recruits famous.

Recruiting:

Through two days of competition four-star qb commitment Jeff Sims is impressing at the Elite 11:

Analysts are impressed by his live arm and athleticism.

Not all good news on the recruiting front as four-star target Michael Redding III, many expected to go to FSU, committed to Miami; that’s a miss.

Five-star defensive end Reggie Grimes has FSU in his top group and is planning an official visit. (VIP)

Football:

SportingNews made a list of the top 25 wide receivers in the country; Tamorrion Terry was honorable mention; if this FSU works like we expect it to when they re-do the list at the end of the year he’ll be on it.

Paul Finebaum says that FSU is not a destination job and that Jimbo Fisher left at the right time.

Trevor Lawrence, Cam Akers, Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross, Tamorrion Terry, Allen Robinson, the ACC Atlantic is loaded with talented players.
