The former UF commit is in the fold for FSU

FSU’s SNL event continues to pay dividends on the trail for Florida State. First reported by Noles247. FSU has added to the trenches on the defensive side of the ball with the commitment of three-star defensive end Morven Joseph.

At 6’3 215lbs Joseph hails from Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, Florida. He chose FSU over offers from Tennessee, Auburn, Arkansas, Alabama after decommitting from Florida just over three weeks ago. There really wasn’t a school that was second for Joseph; he tried to be coy about it but ever since the decommitment it’s pretty much always been Florida State. Joseph ranks 478th nationally, 18th at his position, and 73rd within the state of Florida in 247’s National Composite rankins.

8.5 sacks in 2018 Joseph is not the biggest defensive end but at 6’3 215 with room to grow he is a twitchy pass rusher and looks to be a good fit for FSU as Florida State moves to more of a 3-4 front in passing type situations.

FSU will continue to hunt for pass-rushing talent in this class but they’re off to a good start.

Joseph is jumping right into helping recruit other players to Florida State. He lets five-star Sav’ell Smalls know that if Smalls commits to Florida State, the number 9 jersey won’t be an issue.
