FSU takes on Boise in Tallahassee

NCAA Football: Florida at Florida State Glenn Beil-USA TODAY Sports

Football:

The biggest news from yesterday was FSU vs. Boise State being moved to Tallahassee with a noon kick.

Information about refunds, parking, and tickets for the game can be found here.

FSU hasn’t signed a QB since 2017 and yet this fall they’ll have three scholarship qbs on the roster and one who used to be on scholarship at Western Michigan. See TN’s thoughts on James Blackman and the rest of the qb room in the quarterback position preview.

The vast majority of ESPN writers are picking FSU to beat Boise State.

This sudden change in location and game-time may seem jarring but FSU Football is kind of used to it at this point.

Recruiting:

Four-star running back commitment Lawrance Toa’fili had some impressive highlights from his season opener.

Four-star linebacker commitment Keyshawn Greene was impressive in his senior season debut as well.

Five-star edge rusher Sav’ell Smalls got his nickname while on FSU’s campus; sometimes it’s the little things like that can make all the difference in a recruitment.

Other Sports:

Women’s Golf is preseason No. 6 and pushing for a national title.

Alumni:

Surely you’ve deduced who’s No. 1 on our countdown because No. 2 on our countdown is FSU’s first Heisman winner, Mr. Charlie Ward. An athlete so good he didn’t even play football professionally; he spent 12 years in the NBA instead.
