Last week, Florida State did enough through 3 quarters to give fans hope of an upset win against UVA. And then the 4th quarter happened. But FSU played hard against the early favorite to win the Coastal Division, and lost by as much as Vegas said they should lose by.
But no matter how much effort, or want to, or how close a team might come, only wins matter. If Taggart hopes to salvage the direction of this program, there needs to be wins. FSU can’t play down to less talented teams, they have to play complete games, and most importantly, they need wins. A loss to Louisville and it will be hard to imagine this team finding another 5 wins to improve on the 5-7 2018 campaign. The season, and everything that goes with it, is on thin ice. The future of FSU football with Taggart at the helm is too. WIN.
